INCOME AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants for the Portugal Digital Nomad Visa must demonstrate a stable monthly remote income earned from a foreign employer, clients, or business. The minimum income requirement is generally approximately €3,480 per month, based on four times the Portuguese national minimum wage (which is currently €920/month). If applying with a spouse, an additional income of €435 per month is expected, and for each child, €261 per month should be added to the baseline requirement. Applicants must also show proof of valid accommodation in Portugal and comprehensive health insurance covering their stay.
APPLICATION FEES
The cost of the Portugal Digital Nomad Visa includes professional advisory and legal support for the main applicant and eligible family members, encompassing application preparation, submission and follow up with the relevant authorities. Government visa and residence permit fees are payable at the time of submission and issuance. Advisory fees are typically non refundable and due upfront. Any additional costs for official translations, notarization, document authentication, health insurance premiums and proof of accommodation documentation are the responsibility of the applicant.
