UK Expansion Visa
UK Global Business Mobility Expansion Worker Route Overview
The UK Expansion Worker Visa is part of the Global Business Mobility routes and is designed for overseas companies seeking to establish a commercial presence in the United Kingdom for the first time. This visa allows senior managers or specialist employees to enter the UK to set up a branch or wholly owned subsidiary of an overseas business that does not yet have an active trading presence in the UK.
The route supports international companies expanding into the UK market by enabling key personnel to oversee setup activities, business development and initial operations in compliance with UK immigration and corporate regulations.
WHY Choose UK Expansion Worker Visa?
The UK Expansion Worker Visa provides an efficient route for overseas companies to enter the UK market without immediately hiring from the local labor force. It allows businesses to deploy trusted senior staff or specialists to manage the establishment phase while ensuring operational control and consistency with global business standards.
The visa offers flexibility for companies expanding into one of the world’s leading financial and commercial hubs, with access to global markets, a strong legal framework and a stable business environment. While it does not provide direct settlement, it enables a structured expansion strategy and can support future transitions to other UK immigration routes.
